This area of the forums is for Scene Discussion only. Typical things we would expect to be discussed here could be:
- Scene rules/standards and proposed changes
- Changes in the law that may affect our hobby
- New protection formats
- Scene nostalgia
Things that should not be posted here:
- Explicit details of any aspect of the scene. People or sites.
- Problems with specific releases. Do it in the relevant forum.
- Ego inflating threads. We're not interested in how l33t you think you are.
- 'What happened to group/board/website/ xxx?' - We are not tech support for other boards/websites.
If you want to ask a basic question, then do it in Newbies. If your question is regarding VCD/DivX/etc, then ask about it in the relevant forum.
If you're not sure where to post your thread, then do it in Off Topic. It can be moved here if this forum is considered a more apropriate place.
Also, please notice that this is currently a slow moving section of the forums. Therefore, pay attention to the date of the last post before bumping threads to post 'lol' or other irrelevant thoughts.
Of course general site guidelines also apply here; No requesting at all, look before posting, etc.
