Well, PDTV/HDTV-rips are afaik almost always progressive (they are IVTCed and frame decimated at encode time). Most stuff gets shot on film these days, and I love it. :)

I dunno how the groups do hybrid stuff, say like Enterprise which iirc is shot on film but with CG-stuff done at different specs. I forget the specifics, but there's an odd mix there somewhere. I don't watch Enty anyway, so I really don't care. :p

there is no such thing as the scene standard when it comes to FPS, 25 fps and ~30fps are perfectly fine too, it all depends on the source
