my thoughts: pretty good show if you like hard boiled detective stories like The Killing and so on. I recommend it.

Definitely recommended. I just finished watching the whole thing today. They're actually working 2 cases. One is the murder of a young boy from 20 years ago, and the other is an active serial killer who likes to asphyxiate male whores and then rape them post mortem.

The first episode is unbearably bad. It was filmed about a year before episode two. They change out some of this shitty actors and it seems to get a lot better.
