Birdman
« on: January 06, 2015, 11:08:36 PM »
Couldn't see a thread to my surprise, did also use search.

A washed-up actor who once played an iconic superhero must overcome his ego and family trouble as he mounts a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim his past glory.

IMDB

Saw it tonight and thought it was genius. 9.5/10

Seen comments about choppy framerate with at least 2 releases. Is that due to source or is there a release without this issue?

I thought it was very well done, Norton and Keaton stood out.

A strong contender for best picture (along with Whiplash and Boyhood).

8.5/10

Boyhood was fantastic but I am a late 20s male that grew up in a single-mother family so it hit everything for me.

Technically well made movie, acting is strong, but the story is so so. 7/10 worth it to watch
