What in the literal fuck are you banging on about?

Oh right I see, the electronic voice does sound a bit like that.  I never usually get the far in the track, I prefer Pharrel's singing.

So the album has leaked.

What do you guys think? It's very uneven... I have mixed feelings about it. Don't be expecting an electronic album, it sounds a bit more like 70's or 80's disco than anything else. It's not exactly a massive album in the sense that you don't really have any loud dance floor singles. The closest to the old Daft Punk seems to be the last track "Contact". For me it sort of teeters between interesting and boring.

Given all that, it is a nice soothing listen. But nothing more.

It's more of a "music for fucking" album than a Daft Punk album. Still, I enjoy it for what it is. Too much use of a vocalizer / vocoder in some of the tracks imho.  A track like track 12 "Doin' it right" is just dull. Don't like it at all but  track 10 "Motherboard" is a very interesting electronic piece.  Track 5 "Instant Crush" is pretty much a straight up 80s synth-pop track and I really like it but the voice effect is grinding.

Overall it's hard to place lots of good stuff, lots of bad but not really what I expected from Daft Punk. I expect to pick it apart and cycle the good tracks.

what do you mean by album has leaked? I listened to it on itunes they have a free preview. it was alright, a little on the soft side for my tastes though.
