Both previous Witcher's I remember really enjoying, but then I often have a tendency to take big breaks from playing and always find I completely forget how to play these ones when I finally come back to it. Tried WII the other day and literally didn't even know how to fight  ;D

one of the few games that i trust won't treat me like a prepubescent retard.

Another overrated POS witcher game hooray, but wait it has naked pixelated women to make me rate it 10/10.
hooray for me.
You don't like it? Why?

I tried the first one and didn't get very far. I couldn't stand the combat. When I took on the wizard/sorcerer at the beginning, it took nearly 10 minutes for me to kill him.

I remember there was a trick to it, otherwise he wouldn't take any damage.  So you probably just too dumb to figure the fight out.

yea the wizard was pretty easy, you just had to kill the 3 peons shielding him first, woulda taken me awhile too but theres so many boss fights in games that use the same mechanic.

That was pretty badass. And beautifully rendered. Sadly, my computer couldn't even handle The Witcher 2 properly, so I never played that one, and I doubt I'll play this one until I upgrade.

I gave up on Witcher 2 at a part where you fight a dragon in a castle or something. Tried to go back a few months later but completely forgot how to play... I think pretty much the same happened with The Witcher. Shame really as I remember enjoying them up until then  :(

Yeah I did the same thing with Witcher 1. Played it for like  40 hours or maybe even more, and really enjoyed it too, but then suddenly stopped and never finished it.

I just wish the combat was better. It all about clicking fast and jkumping around. Potions, oils and all that stuff isn't really necessary (I don't know about hard dificulty, though). And there's no sense of hitting, it's all too light, fast, feathery.

Imo the combat of Witcher 2 was really fun, but it was just way too easy. Once you're past the intro sequence the whole game just gets easier and easier untill there's no challenge left.
