i never did finish the witcher 1 or 2, i thought i would give the witcher 2 another go and i started it today and applied 2 small patches and now all the text and menu is invisible in the game, so i have to download the whole damn thing again, its a known problem and thats the official fix over at the forums is to reinstall the whole fucking thing again, i was somewhat pissed to say the least.

They're good games but somewhat forgettable imho.  I mean I can''t remember the particulars of the first two game, only that I completed them. Ask me about Planescape Torment and I can talk for hours...

I actually loved the first game, combat and all. I still haven't beaten the second one.

I am actually curious if they are going to have an open world witcher.

I tried the first one and didn't get very far. I couldn't stand the combat. When I took on the wizard/sorcerer at the beginning, it took nearly 10 minutes for me to kill him.
