Man I dunno if anyone has really gone too far with PS3 modding recently, but some of the functions available now are AWESOME.
I just got PS3NETSRV working last night, so now I can keep my game downloads on my PC and stream the whole game across my LAN to the PS3.
It works flawlessly and saves the headache of FTPing them to the machine.
NTFS drives work now too, and so do PS2/PSX/PSP Isos!

Sounds interesting. What do I need to make the PS3 support the NTFS drives and the PS2/PSX/PSP isos? Or are you talking about emulators?

Latest CFW (Habib or Rogero) with Cobra 7.00 support built in.
If you're already on CFW you can do this.
Latest MultiMan/Webman will add the other features you need.

Sorry Shwaggs, missed your question, if your console ever had OFW 3.55 on it, then you can downgrade back, and then get CFW on it. You will need a downgrade dongle though (e3 flasher) which is about $125. Based on what you can do with these consoles now though, I'd call that a relatively cheap investment.
