Video editing question
« on: October 25, 2012, 10:15:40 AM »
I'd like to create a movie for one of my friends who's about to marry.
Me and my friends always make a movie if one of us decides that marrying is the best thing to do ;)
I've made some of them already in the past using Pinnacle or Sony Vegas Pro.

I've got an idea and don't know how to do it and what software I can use best.
I'd like to copy this guy's face directly over the face of an actor in a short movie scene (10-20 secs).
(No it isn't porn). So it looks like him doing the scene.
It doesn't have to be pretty, it may even look crappy, I just don't know how to start.
I've got seperate pictures if him looking in every possible direction, but now I have to find a way to implement them in the movie.
I'm not familiar with any other video editing software but I'm a quick learner.
Thx!

i'd recommend using adobe after effects, then use motion tracking to track the movement/rotation/scale of the face. let me know if you need a hand. also, which movie?

Thanks, I'll check it out. Fortunately I still have 6 months to complete it. The movie: Highlander. Dunno yet which scene I'll use.
