Communication needs to be improved

Many changes that have been made were done without informing everyone. People get confused, get frustrated and the entire point for this upgrade gets lost. People start to think the upgrade brings more shit than it brings good.

The lost accounts thing is a good example of this.

Anyway, it might be useful to find a way to improve communication. Send small messages around when something new's coming, etc.

Fuck that shit. Improving communication does nothing. No matter what changes were made, should have been made, or what could have been made, it wouldn't have mattered. The new site owners lose no matter which direction they took. People will bitch about any change, or lack thereof.

1) No matter what gets changed, people will be upset.
2) We're still fixing a TON of shit behind the scenes, ranging from default settings not being 'sensible' to actual bugs.

Other than the lost accounts which, due to our limited resources and time, could not be resolved. What in-particular has been confusing to the point of annoying that wasn't discussed in this forum?

Avatars, we've got a thread of like 3 pages, and no serious post from you or any other mod or admin saying if it's in or out.

The lost accounts, no one really cares how long it takes. Problem was nothing ever communicated until you got a fix. I had to ask like 3 fucking times and I never got a serious response to my question back then. It's less frustrating if someone just came out and told us wtf is going on before having it get on our nerves.

Anyway, I'm griping the communication here, not the amount of stuff or what you're doing.
