Studio One was a great find mef!  I've been playing around with it and like the interface much better than Ableton.  I did manage to crash it though.  For some reason, it crashes every time I try to load Hypersonic VST.  But all of the Native Instruments libraries seem to work fine.

I'm very impressed with FL Studio. It's powerful, versatile and very easy to use. You can make a full track, from start to finish, including mastering, in record time.

And it's very easy on the eyes, which also helps.

its great but it was actually cytochrome that told me about it in this thread, so i cant take any credit for the find. haven't been able to crash it myself yet. i love how melodyne is integrated into the shell.

Well kudos to cytochrome!  I like how 'rewire' is built in as well.  It's funny how many musicians are here on the isonews website.  I play keyboard, sax, trumpet, guitar, mandolin and mountain dulcimer (but a VERY shitty drummer).  I'm not a professional at any of those instruments but I'm not an amateur either.  And the melodyne implementation is sweet!
