something i usually like to do is set a loop going and add drums, then the bass etc. with ableton, you couldnt edit the midi that you just made unless you stopped recording/playback first. not the case with studio one!
something to be aware of, you only want to use the x64 version if you're using x64 vsts really, the x86 version will use both the x86 AND x64 audio engine, but the x64 application wont read 32bit plugins. for now im just sticking with the 32bit edition, which works great.
