I suspect something is up with the server as I've experienced several of my posts disappearing these last 7 days or so.

Unless of course it's Shwaggy...

It looks like we're now live on the new server!

It feels snappier to me (instant page loads)

If some messages were lost during the import that kinda sucks, but it seems minimal

This morning I've noticed several messages disappeared. I've made a post asking if someone was deleting messages and now it's gone too.

The new DB merge on the new host happened this morning. Chances are you posted while that was happening.
We lost one day worth of messages.
