Radiant Historia

Wanted to make a thread for this RPG because it's good enough to deserve it's own topic.

Game came out last year, and sold much better than Atlus had anticipated. So much so, that used copies are selling for $130 on Ebay, and Atlus is actually producing a second batch of the cartridge.

I've been playing it for a few hours now, and it's a fantastic little RPG. It revolves around time travel and multiple futures, and the ability to hop between them. The combat is pretty fun, turn based, and you can deploy some cool strategies to beat multiple enemies quickly.

Highly recommend checking it out if you have an NDS.
I'll keep pratce

You should grab Radiata Stories if you liked that one, on the PS2. It works on the PSCX 2 emulator as well. Infinite Space is another really good NDS game that's been overlooked due to the price tag.

Infinite Space is hella hard tho... got stuck somewhere in chapter 4. But I fully agree on Radiata Stories, that was great both story and combat wise, with some unexpected twists

Radiant Historia and Nostalgia are still both in my NDS backlog.

It's on my "to play" list, but never got around to play it, although I know it got good reviews and recommendations. Thanks for remembering me about it.

I will definitely grab Radiata stories.
I installed a PS2 emu a few months back and fiddled with it. I'm shocked at how good the emulation of that system has gotten!

Yeah, almost anything worth playing works well on it, and with a decent system the graphics options can make a lot of the 3d games not-horrible looking. I like the Dolphin emulator too; Wind Waker and a lot of Wii games look terrific with anti-aliasing and at higher resolutions.

There've been a good amount of decent NDS games over the last few years; Avalon Code, Dark Spire, the re-releases of the Dragon Quest games, that new Aliens game that's like a Metroid one, Fire Emblem anything, the FF: Tactics A2 is alright, the remade Lufia, Okamiden, Henry Hatsworth, Knights in the Nightmare (I think it's better on PSP), Rondo of Swords, and Black Sigil are just a few that pop to mind.
