I can't find words for how utterly fucking shit this show is. The comic probably seems better because they can get away stupid shit like "shocked character slowly walks backwards into a zombie" x10.At least the camera reveals how fucking absurd the premise is, and how fucking ridiculous it is that even one healthy adult would fall victim to these slow ass zombies.How fucking hard is it to dig a fucking ditch around an encampment? Did the zombies eat all the excavators too?That would be a good story in my book. A group of people who use reason and logic and still get owned. Not a bunch of idiots who manage to get themselves killed because they do the most dumb shit possible for any given situation. Thats not immersive or scary and i certainly can't raise any kind of sympathy for any character in such a group. The only person who has done anything right in the series is the black samurai chick. She's got the right idea. "look, these are some slow ass bitch zombies, i'll just chop their heads off". A sword is all you would need against such an impotent adversary. Problem is, the next moment she decides to "go against everyone and everything just because i like to be a mysterious and annoying loner stereotype". Makeup and artstyle (for the comics) alone can't make a whole show. We need fucking story bro. FUcking Story.Like in boardwalk empire when nucky is about to whack his brother im like noooo save him you fucking asshole! On second thought blow his brains out, he betrayed you! These are called emotions, and we get them when we give a shit about characters, which we only do when there is a believable scenario.I will dedicate my next bowelmovement to this show, and on the values of every person involved in its making, and every person who considers it even half-decent entertainment.Fucking blow your brains out if you like the comic too, assholes
