I've got several Xboxes, a PS3 and a Wii... and I will have to say... the Wii gets the least amount of play... It is just shitty. The games aren't really fun, except maybe for a kid and the novelty of the motion shit has worn off. Everything on the Wii is a fucking cartoon. No offense ment by this post to people who only have Wii consoles.

I do think that it is GREAT for people who are *CASUAL* gamers with older children though.

Been mainly using mine for emulators (snes, gba) and I try out new wiiware and isos.....it would get the least amount of play for me too if my xbox wasn't broken...again. Looking forward to No More Heroes 2, Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of Graces, and Monster Hunter 3.

Plus Smash Bros Brawl never gets old for my friends and I.....have over 200 hrs clocked.

It's an inferior gaming device. The worst part about the Wii is the technology, not good enough graphics. PS3 and 360 could be around for 5 more years thanks to graphics, especially considering 3d gaming is a real possibility this Gen since blu-rays support 3d and some of the newer Tvs do.

"But but Wii has sold the most so therefor it's the best because having most sold consoles automatically means it also has the best games so Wii in fact is the best gaming system ever created".

I honestly don't get the pathetic idiots clutching on to the sales figures to prove how "amazing" Wii is.

The toyota Corolla has probably sold more units than the Lexus (insert model here). But is the Corolla really "better" than the lexus, or even better than say a Dodge Charger? No, it's just different, and for different people with different needs.

the wii isnt even a real game console in my book, it's a family parlor game system; it's a novelty item, like a glow in the dark dildo. It's cool at first but after a while you just want to use a real quality vibrator.

I've had plenty of fun lately with New Super Mario Brothers and Muramasa. I just picked up Madworld on the cheap and that's awesome too. The wii always gets playtime at parties thanks to super mario smash brothers, and every now and then i replay the stellar Metroid Prime 3 and Twilight Princess. With Red Steel 2 coming out, though, it's time to make some room to play through that. Suppose to have the most bitchin' swordplay of any game yet, sounds good to me. Can't wait till that new Metroid game comes out too. Mario Galaxy was awesome as well, and that sequel is comign out very soon to boot.

So...shitty? Nah. I'll admit my 360 gets more playtime, but mostly because I'm addicted to Rock Band. The Wii is pretty damn decent.

I'm having fun with it for now. It's nice having all the games on a hard drive and this whole scrubbed image thing is pretty cool.

Sports Resort Table Tennis is the greatest thing ever.

Pretty much every tennis game on the Wii sucks on some level, but ping pong is the shit...so real.

My wii gets by far the most playtime of my 3 consoles (xbox360, ps3, wii).

Xbox and PS3 may have really superior graphics but there is not a single game I can actually play with friends or repeatedly play through the story again.
Games like Smash brothers, New Super Mario brothers, Mario galaxy and since yesterday Monster hunter Tri that u can play to no end are just nonexistent on the other consoles.
Fable, Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden, GOW, GTA, Darksiders and stuff are really nice for a playthrough, but after that i just sell them invite some friends over start playing wii and never think of those games again.
And don`t come to me with Halo or sth like that. Everyone who plays FPS with those crippled controls on console has never really tried playing with mouse and keyboard.

So for my personal game preference:
Fun Games that I can play to no end: Wii
FPS and the most other online-fun: PC.
Single forgettable playthroughs with nice gfx: xbox360, PS3

So: The Wii is NOT shitty in my opinion, I think it is a console that still values the overall gaming-experience over shiny graphics.

A Wii with the power of the ps3 would be great, but then the whole graphics-in-content-out machinery would start rolling, just as it is with our "next-gen" consoles....
