Post up some ideas or suggestions here for the new front page of the site.

What do we want to see on there?
What about posting nfos/updates?
Can we add features that will enhance the site? (The Twitter feed is a neat idea I think)

something mentioning that registration has been fixed...oh and a sticky thread about it on the forums also...

Depends on the human resources available.
If you want a front page you will need to update it often and make it dynamic and fresh.
Not to mention making it original in some way otherwise it would be useless.

Or some kind of user generated content.
For instance reviews of games and movies by forum users..

Just do a twitter feed that a few of the trusted people here can add to.

Then they can just list all the major releases of interest. Big HD rips, game rips, console release.. only the big stuff tho.

some sort of reviews like firstlooks of new games/movies/tv etc
interesting tech/iso news with a forum thread link for discussion, possibly into the news postings forum

definitely nfo's would be really nice but some members need to volunteer for that

- Revive the news forum and add links to threads on the homepage
- Site news
- Any pertinent scene info

If there's going to be a Twitter feed i would much rather have it made so it pointed to interesting discussions.

eg. "See skillz and gunhero having a catfight <link>"
"RB26ETT screenshot for others to compare with .. fun fun <link>"

We may start up Firstlooks again if the site can generate decent traffic/ad revenue.
I thought they were a good contest and generate unique looks at games.

It certainly woulnd't hurt to have some actual iSO news on the frontpage.

Bringing the firstlooks back sounds good to me. I promise to write at least a couple if it happens.

Yep, if I ever have to do firstlooks, it would be for movies.

And music too. Need to revive that Metal thread.
