Yea, to me this is a matter of style + old school class. I like the way Isonews read itself, kind of like a novel, without mass craps to distract you from the words of the people

If you want a good example of why, see Isoleeted..  Sorry JayRoe, but its a mess.  This simple style just makes things easier to read and is a rarity these days..

Personally, I'd like to see it stay the same, and just fix whats broken..  Oh, and update phpBB, its so old I'm surprised it wasn't auto-hacked into some russian spam site years ago.

* Favicon added (second black version now)
* Logins fixed, if it still doesn't work delete your cookies and restart your browser.
* Looking at fixing the search right now.

Edit: correct the font/unicode. When you see my signature ok, it's fixed.

Yes! Basically I have nothing to complain about Isonews, and can't think of anything to add either... I guess the biggest problem was that no new users could join, but that didn't affect me so...

Where did the frontpage disappear though? It redirects straight to the forum. I miss the frontpage.

on a more serious note, i think that we should redo the sections, honestly we don't have that many members and we should simplify the forum a bit.

we could probably put all gaming in one section, all entertainment in one, but we need to definitely keep NSFW section.

The console sections could be put together, but I wouldn't merge PC and consoles. It would lead to a bitchfest.

Are the old word filters still in place? Not being able to tell others about the magic of www.zombo.com whilst calling them a dirty gypsy was the main reason i had stopped coming here.

I don't see a reason to merge gaming sections... Why not have it neat and organized when it already is? PS3-games go in the PS3 section, PC-games in the PC section etc.
Maybe it makes too much sense to use?

The console section is a wasteland, merging those would liven up the place a bit. Just use labels like on Nforce to create threads, [Xbox] [PS3] and whatnot.
