Please fix character encoding, I need my melting snowman sig back!

And definitely no avatars! The iSONEWS minimalist design is in no way outdated, it's classy.

Embedded images can be a useful tool, but can also easily be used by morons to spam threads with lolcats and other stupid shit. Maybe make them spoilerized or thumbnailed automatically? A spoiler tag would be nice too.

If people would spam images in threads, then the mods would have something to do and warn them. And if they'll keep spamming, fucking ban them.

Simple as that.

thats why we have moderators to watch over that
you could be spammed any other way too even if it's just a tinyurl link.
if you dont want an avatar you dont have to get one, seriously you sound like a bunch of old farts.

You also can disable the avatars display in the profile settings.

As for Avatars, images, video embedding, spoilers, etc. It doesn't matter how many people are against it. Simply make it customizable through the userCP so those who want it can enable it. That way everyone can have it their way.

I should be able to delete my post while no one hasn't added a new reply after mine.

Not the most pressing thing but just thought I'd suggest that instead of leaving edit nvm or whatever as I would have used that feature with this post and with many others in the past.
