idx and sub files in vlc
« on: February 08, 2009, 08:18:50 AM »
why do idx subs look so fucking bad in vlc compared to .srt subs?

no matter what i change the font type to idx/sub always look like complete shit
is the font type locked or something cause its fucking annoying having to find srt subs for movies all the time

.sub are image-based, and thus look like crap on higher resolutions and VLC apprantly does not have support for Vobsub subs. (it doesnt use directshow)

Use vobsub with WMP. (get the matroska codec pack aka. CCCP: http://www.cccp-project.net/ )
