Bought a tv, extn hd, need help with d/l
« on: December 01, 2008, 03:55:53 PM »
So, my tv has an usb port and I can plug an external hd in it, thing is, 98% of hd movies are in mkv format and my tv reads basic stuff like avi, wmv...

I read that mvk is only a "container" and I don't want to lose quality... what's the easiest way to put my .mkv movies on my hdd so I can watch them on my tv/sound system?

Thanks

Damn not working.

It converts then I burn it as data on a dvd.

The mp4 the drive just doesn't want to read it, tried the xvid format and no luck there either.

Is there some kind of special settings if it's not going to be played on a xbox but rather on a normal dvd player ? (it reads 720p)
