A new show from Matthew Weiner, executive producer of The Sopranos!

Mad Men is AMC’s provocative new original series from writer and executive producer Matthew Weiner of The Sopranos. Set in 1960 New York, Mad Men pulls the viewer into an unexpected new world - the high-powered and glamorous “Golden Age” of advertising - where everyone is selling something and nothing is ever what you expect it to be.

Read the review in USA Today. The were very enthusiastic about it and gave it 4/4 stars.

I watched this one last night. It was alright, but it wasn't enough to keep me watching the series.

This show is racist! The niggers have all the shitty jobs.

Good show though, I would bang the wife and and that redheaded secretary so hard, they do a really good job of capturing the time line that it is set in.

I just bought the S1 special edition and I want to chime in about how great this show is. It's a guy drama. They smoke all day, drink at work and sexually harass women yet it's such a heavy, touching show that even ladies could get into it.

Even the subtleties about living in 1960, not knowing what we know now make this a show worth watching.

The first few episodes may be somewhat slow but when secrets about the characters start surfacing you really begin to understand why they are the way they are.

my guess is Duck won't be the exec of the merged SC. AT least that's obvious. So the possibility exists Don gets to choose the direction the merger takes.
