When did they stop supporting HD 4000 series?  :(

:( I still got my HD 4890. Then again, I don't do much gaming.

I'm running an i7-920 (original quad core baby) with 6GB DDR3. I bet if I got another 4890 in SLI, 6GB more DDR3 and an SSD drive (all three for under $250 I bet) I could game on this machine for another 1-2 years at high quality and with good framerates, I'll be missing out on all the new DirectX/software technologies though.

The orignal intel quad core CPU line was Core 2 Quad.

I stand corrected. I guess the i7 just had a new bus technology or something.

Honestly, I still run a core 2 quad and nothing even comes close to maxing it out :( its kind of sad how little extra cores are still being used by games. I got me plenty of non game software that I can push those babies up to 100% though :D

Nevermind, it seems there's a weird issue with uninstallation and it caused some serious performance problems. Solved it seems .
