8.10 just out, ya'all know where to find them ;)

They also have manual fan speed control option in them, quite handy!

Too bad its only for 4xxx series

I've checked it on my HD3850 and no such option found :(

9.1 should be around the corner, but it's noteworthy that there is some kind of hotfix for 8.12 that already introduces the multicore optimizations (or at least some of them) that will be in 9.1.

9.3 out.

Vista & Windows 7 unified driver, performance improvements in Lost Planet: Colonies. Plus other bits and pieces.

Follow the link in the last post for Vista 64, Radeon 4800 series.

Edit: Wow, these drivers now play audio as well as video through HDMI. I went to watch a film last night on an HDTV as my second monitor and after years of running the sound through my amplifier it now comes directly out of the TV. Result indeed.

Any of you guys still use optimized drivers like OmegaDrivers?

I used them few years back and wonder if they are still useful/worth it. I have an old card (Radeon 9000) and would like to know if those type of drivers can help me give some performance.

-edit-
Oh and anyone uses those video card drivers "cleaners"?

I am having two problems with 9.5.
#1 Since I use two displays (22" Viewsonic LCD 1680x1050 and 46" Samsung 1080p LCD TV) I have 4 profiles:
Viewsonic, Samsung, Viewsonic primary extends on Samsung and Samsung primary extends on Viewsonic.
Well since I installed 9.5 I am no longer able to create shortcuts to my desktop.
#2 Profiles no longer memorize the resolution correctly. I used to be able to activate a profile and have the resolutions set correctly
on each display, but now both displays are set to 1680x1050. WTF?

At first I thought it was because I had installed 9.5 without uninstalling 9.4, but since the I uninstalled the drivers, cleaned up everything Ati related with Driver Sweeper (while in safe mode) and reinstalled 9.5 and I still have these problems.
Anybody else is having these issues? If there's no solution I might as well roll back to 9.4.

BTW I have posted this exact same post to Isoleeted in case anybody sees it and starts mumbling about it... ;)

9.8 released.

http://www.pcper.com/comments.php?nid=7641

Improvements all over.
So far I could only test Far Cry 2 and with EVERYTHING totally maxed out @1680x1050, 2XFSAA, DX10, Q9450, 4870 cross fire i went from 40/65/28 (avg, max, min) to 52/83/36, which is 30% boost of average, maximum AND minumum FPS.
Way to go ATI!
Still I wonder why all my profiles get deleted each time I update my drivers.

CCC is Instaload now! :D
