Performance Improvements
Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Dark Messiah Might and Magic performance improves on the ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD2900 XT Crossfire configurations. Improvements of 16% or more can be seen with HDR enabled.

Yay for anyone able to afford the hardware to get the benefit from this. :)

Can you just rename this thread to "ATI's Drivers Releases" (or something like that), and just dump the driver releases to one thread, instead of opening another thread each month that no one will reply to?

This release of Catalystâ„¢ introduces the Avivo Video Converter for the Windows Vista (64 bit) operating system. The Avivo Video Converter is a transcoder tool that provides a quick and easy way of converting videos from one format to another. The Avivo Video Converter found within the Catalystâ„¢ Control Center, allows the user to select the input file, and output format, along with the quality level and file location. The Avivo. Video Converter accepts a wide variety of file formats as a source, and outputs to file formats such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4/DivX, WMA, H.264/AVC and more.

Catalyst Control Center: Color Temperature Control

Performance Improvements

Half-Life 2: Episode 1 performance improves at most 9% on ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD2600XT CrossFireâ„¢ and as much as 6% on the ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD2400XT CrossFireâ„¢ configurations.
Serious Sam 2 performance improves up to 46% on the ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD2400XT CrossFireâ„¢ and up to 27% on the ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD2600XT single card and CrossFireâ„¢ configurations with Anti-Aliasing enabled.

I  have a X1550 AGP and I was told that 7.8-7.11 are really shit for AGP (they dont even work with it for me, I cant run any 3D apps at all). Anyone know anything about this or about a planned fix or announcement? I can still take it back to the store but if its getting fixed I'll keep it.
