Kid goes away camping for the weekend, has nhl downloading

gets back and has an email from telus saying he broke copyright infringement rules
may go to court

whats up with that we live in canada

So your saying that he got an email from his ISP's abuse department saying that the copyright holder informed them he was uploading/sharing their software, and therefore violating the ISP's terms of service, and they could suspend his account, blah blah blah???

I imagine that's what the letter said. ISPs don't send you a message that you might go to court. (unless you don't pay your bill)
