Nice review, made me want to check the game out.
But is it just me or fifa's gfx are slightly better/lighter?

Good read, dude knows how to write.
Personaly i liked the gfx in fifa better and the game itself.
PES feels kinda awkward when i play it and also i hate the fact that PES doesn't have the licenses, it sucks.

well, the graphics are not as good as FIFA soccer games, but the crappy gameplay of them is what makes this game shine.... This game is also called WINNING ELEVEN, I have the whole colection for my PS2, wich i think it has better gameplay, and ofcourse this game, beats fifa by miles in the things of realism, gameplay, movements, teams, youc an even find Boca Juniors, and Real Madrid, and other nice spanish and latin teams... this game is a must have, specially in ps2 console..... my 2 cents... fifa sucked donkey balls, i stopped playing that game as soon as i saw winning elven 4.... wich soccer evolution 1 is, or about then...
