Why is this 1stlook being published 2 weeks after being written and, in the end, almost a month after the game's release?
Anyways while I think it's commendable that some users are trying to resurrect the 1stlook section, I think that stuff like this simply won't cut it. I mean, even if this piece has been posted 2 weeks later, I'd expect a bit more information about the game, since if you wrote this on June 17th you must have played this one for more than a week! You say the 1stlook was getting too long? Well I actually think it's too short! If I weren't playing the game myself I would have gotten practically no info from you and BTW I think that the score is a bit low. Spot on the gfx and sound scores and even the gameplay, but final thoughts should be based on the game's longevity and fun factor so it's a 19 or even 20/20 for me.
I know somebody will post messages like STFU or why don't you write a 1stlook yourself, but I think that it's not the point: the point is that "if you wanna be a bear, be a grizzly", AKA if you are gonna do something, let it be meaningful and write a really great piece; if you can't do it let somebody else write 1st looks...
Well, thanx for the effort anyways and I hope you don't take it the wrong way.

I like that you compare the game to GTA:VC, as there are many out there who played it and were really waiting for the next instalment of GTA. Comparing it to its predecessor comes naturally. However, I don't agree with you that this game is better in many ways. Don't get me wrong, it is a great game, but IMHO it lacks the humour and charm of GTA:VC. The radio chanels have a lot to do with this, but also the story line to some extent.

As for Fracicones comments; STFU :) No seriously, I'd rather have people try their best at making a firstlook than none at all. Hopefully it can trigger some people to get off their arses and make more firstlooks, which will maybe be out faster and maybe be a bit more in-depth.

Not a bad firstlook, but why so little written about the gameplay ? Yeah, everyone knows what is GTA but why mention the new things like riding bikes, working out in the gym and the blur effect(in the graphics paragraph) seen for first time in the series ? Anyway, congrats for the firstlook, keep writing, the section needs more ppl like you :)
