Exodus - Tempo Of The Damned

How did you guys miss that I would put it as album of the year. That stands above anything else that comes to mind.

Probably because I'm not a Thrash fan. Good album, nonetheless.

Hmmm i am a thrash fan (im a fan of most metal genres) and i STILL missed that Exodus album...wow im slow, gonna have to check that out.

And Razor, did you consider Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache a really good cd? if you do thats cool, but i just thought it was a real letdown after Alive or Just Breathing, but not a bad cd by any right...still worthy to be on the list though.

Yeah, considering I didn't like their previous ones, this one was quite a surprise.

What was the title of Mastodon's newest album? And if you know was it the one with the song from Tony Hawks Underground? From what i remember of them they have a really mashed together mix of death/thrash that sounds strange but cool sometimes.

Windir - Valfar, Ein Windir

That's a best of-album (tribute to Valfar), not really a new studio album. :p

Some personal favourites from 2004:
Haggard - Eppur Si Muove
My Dying Bride - Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light
Rotting Christ - Sanctus Diavolos

Were just spreading the love of metal here today arent we :) oh and btw, thats In flames worst cd, get clayman, reroute to remain, and colony if you like them...and KSE's 2nd cd, "Alive or just breathing" was better imo when they didnt have the black guy singer.

Not a bad cd, not their best, i thought the song called "slave labor" was pretty sweet.
