I would also like to congratulate krazy8, mandarin, and RomRacer for handling this whole matter in as much of a mature and panic-free manner as could be expected under such circumstances.  isonews and its ragtag group of admins went through a period of being chastized by its users for "backing down to Sega" while, at the same time, being threatened with huge legal damages by Sega's enforcers (read Dan "Guido" Harris).  Hopefully some of the stuff the admins did during this time (and wisely have kept a low profile about) will deter Sega & Co. from going through with its nasty lawsuit, but if push comes to shove, I think isonews will be the one left standing.  In sum, nice job guys and SCREW YOU SEGA.

good, as someone else said, maybe the other forums wont be plagued with all the annoying DC questions like how to burn game x, how to burn self bootable etc etc....

Well, here it as - like we promised!!  Our lawyer has finally settled into her new law teaching job at Stanford and is ready to represent us 110% now utilizing all her resources.  Now we will just wait and see if Harris decides to file suit or we can see if we called his bluff.  Enjoy!

Now, everything DC scene related is allowed.  Scene talk, group chat, ripping, etc.  DIRECT LINKS are still NOT ALLOWED and will be deleted immediately.  Try to be smart with your posts.

although other DC forums did stay up, we went the safest route we could possibly go.  as these other sites are a dime-a-dozen, we wanted to 110% guarantee we would stil be around so we waited to re-open them when our lawyer could always be there for us.  I promise those other sites are acting tough now, but once they are served with papers will cry like 4 year old misfits - this is when we will be standing in court with the best cyberlaw lawyer out there laughing the whole time!  thanks to all our supporters, too!!  if anyone has any faq additions or suggestions or whatnot, please feel free to make them here.  we always listen. :)

So we're finally back in action... with regular moderation going on, useless posts will probably be kept to a minimum.
