Best graphics in a racing game on the PC?! FlatOut owns those graphics hands down. Yeah, so 9/10 seems pretty much. Also, gameplay is less than 8/10 for me, since the damage models are almost non-existant and the physics jsut downright suck. The performance of the cars was just overdone. Didn't feel like anything after the physics of FlatOut. Btw, I love it how they've copied every single picture in the first graphic novel page and just rearranged them in the second (check the last pic).

Well, first of all, I want to say one word about the sound. I was a bit harsh, it get's better. Not 100% lifelike, but better than it was when I wrote the FL.

Regarding the graphics I think that the graphics of both NFSUG and NFSUG2 is better than FlatOut. This is due to the ambiance it creates and the high sensation of speed it gives. Although, after playing a while I do feel that the blurring etc. actually was a bit better in the first one than this version.

But if you maxout the graphics in this game the lightning, reflections and highres cars puts flatput to rest. But that's just my oppinion.

- Too much reflection (used to hide defaults in the game, like ugly textures, etc).
- Casual cars on the track are completely ugly.
- Low quality textures in general.
- Foliages, like trees, just look crap.
- Overall console port graphic.

7/10 graphic

Repetitive gameplay ... always the same track used, too much useless thing in the game and low valuable contents.

6/10 gameplay

agree, its like playing nfsu all over again, and theres really no incentive...people who are bored may actually complete the game but doesnt even feel worth doing it like NFSU1, looks like they took a step back with this one, weel any game that EA makes into a yearly series just happens to go that same way...look at all their stupid sports games, all of them are getting pwned by other quality titles;

ESPN NFL2K5 > Madden 2005
ESPN NBA 2K5 > NBA Live 2005
PES4 > FIFA 2005

Well graphics arent that bad, but not that good either. I mean, I would give them a 8. But the sound is amazing I think. The engines and all that!

sound in almost every nfs series is breathtaking, and with the EA choosing the music sound tracks plus the great engine sounds (imho they are fantastic) i'd give sound a 10/10 if not for other racing games out there who have perfected car sounds, yet they lack in the music.

so sound gets a 9.5/10 ;p

gameplay is nothing much new, but what happened to drift ?
