Ok...While I agree more with the scores in this FL, in the end...it is a horrible...HORRIBLE FL.  ...  You obviously hadn't finished the game, or really gotten very deep into it for that matter and it showed.  

finished the game?  gotten very deep?  firstlook?  What do the  first two have to do with the third one

firstlook by definition is not the all-encompasing, comprehensive review of the game...

No, I was not joking, why the hell would I be joking? The content of this firstlook was simply laughable. Bad spelling, english, grammar, syntax, misuse of words, copy/pasted PR material, and an obvious lack of even playing the game longer then 30 minutes all combine to form something so bad, it just might have been written by someone with no grasp of English or computer gaming.

Anyone else read the 20-or-so page article on Gamespot about the development of Half Life 2?  This first look reeks of plagiarism, everything that I have seen in it, I read somewhere else in a preview.  Damien, do yourself a favor and never "write" another fl like this.  Being a "programmer" I would think that you knew that stealing others intellectual work was a no-no.  As Requiem said before in this same post, you should be ashamed of yourself.

As long as it's not copied straight word for word, it's not considered plagiarism. You may have the same opinions as other reviewers.

I can swear that I have never read the article at gamespot. Didn't even know it existed. Although, since all the info about the game and it's developemnt is the same for all people who want to know about it, articles talking about the engine, the game and it's contents are bound to have similar content.
