Meh.. i guess this is all in your opinion, and i cant argue what you like. But it's kinda hard to take your first looks seriously with the scores you give: Bloodlines - 48/50, Half-Life - 50/50. Bloodlines is buggy, and eventhough Half-Life is an awesome game, it's in no way perfect. There will never be a perfect game (50/50).

Don't know why you had to come down on my FLL like that, but I feel we are all entitled to our own opinions. Even though I don't feel that any game exist that deserve 10/10 in all departments I still understand and accept that this is you oppinion.

A simple advice from me to you. If you don't like my stuff, don't read it.

This is not a perfect game, especially for a close to 7 years of production. There is A LOT of newbie bug, bad textures applications, etc, etc, etc
And ? i can easily create a map exit, too much game crash and problemes with the crap loading point integration.

Just an exemple, press ESC when you load a game = CRASH ?????  ...???

i can agree that it is a fabulous game and should get a near perfect rating, but giving it a perfect rating is going a little far especially when you yourself point out things which aren't implemented or could be better, like some of the voice acting for example, so a game that needs improvements or could be better is by definition not perfect, i personally will think there will never be a perfect game deserving of a perfect score, some will come damn close but well perfection means well it couldn't be improved upon, i personally would give it a 9/10

lmao...this was like a fanboy review.  The game is not a 50/50... maybe 45/50...maybe.

You can't point out things that could be better and then give a perfect score...the very fact that you CAN find things that could be better mean its not a 50/50...

Yup another fanboi FL from requiem. As said earlier you state why the scores should be lower and actually rate them higher. Exactly what you did with vampire: bloodlines, but it was even more extreme with that game. You mention that it doesn't look too good and FPS is unplayable, still you give the graphics a 9/10 and gameplay 10/10. Please.

All of you can suck me. Sideways. Vampire deserved its score. HL2 deserved its score. End of story.

Requiem: again, like some people already said, if you can find flaws in the game, it not a perfect game.

more importantly, the lack of dynamic, real time shadowing. Characters, objects, and world geometry in each level of the game have their own method of obtaining a shadow: Objects and characters, naturally, get it in real time, whilst world geometry is set in stone. However, none of these are dynamic to lights other than the world light. Your flashlight does not cast any shadows when you use it

Some of the characters are perfect (Alyx, Eli, combine troopers, and that guy who’s face is on all the vid-screens), but some (many of the minor characters) need work, and all too often you will hear the exact same voice actor playing multiple characters, sometimes in the same scene. This doesn’t detract much, but they could have tried a bit harder. Also, what the hell is up with giving both male and female squad character types the exact same lines, but with different voices? It would have taken probably 45 minutes to come up with a set of new one-liners for the opposite sex, so why didn’t you do it Valve?

you clearly find flaws in both audio and graphics, yet you give both 10/10.

ROFLMFAOH @ the retarded haters... this game should have got a F'ing 60/50 if that was possible. I got a big ass 100mb connection and DL nearly all games that came out in the last few yrs, Nothing ever comes remotely close to this game.
Yup after all the hype I thought yea yea another first person shooter crap.. after 20 mins of this game if you dont think its perfection, you need a brain transplant..

GR8 FL again Requiem99, but no words can do justice to this masterpiece..

HL2 = GOTC (Game Of The Century)
