topic was dead, 9 pages of speculation. We now have a legit developer and the discussion is about whether or not it's a good choice.

“We are overjoyed,” said Howard. “Fallout is one of my favorite games, and we plan to develop a visually stunning and original game for Fallout 3 with all the hallmarks of a great RPG: player choice, engaging story, and non-linearity.”

So, they're abandoning all the work originally done by Black Isle? The game was almost complete when Interplay pulled the plug.

Judging by the huge bore-fest that Morrowind was, I'm not particularly looking forward to this one. Pity, because Fallout 1 & 2 were fucking classics.

That's great news, the fallout series is one of my favorites.  Did anyone play Fallout Tactics?  I'm replaying it and its still very fun.

I never had the patience to play Fallout Tactics when I had it. I'll probably give it another go.

Although i'd prefer guys like Troika on such a project, this is defenetly better than nothing. I just hope not to hear the same sentence from the same actor from 154694 different NPCs and no stupid quests like "get my pants back" or "deliver this thingie to the guy on the other side of the bloody continent".
Although i liked morrowind, i can't see fallout retaining it's spirit by being developed by these people. Only time will say.

OMFG!

I just creamed on my office chair!
Couldn't help myself, everybody laughed at me. :D

Seriously though, this is such a good piece of news, that I will go to the local liquor store and by myself a bottle of Godiva!

/OMFG!

P.S. Aridhol, follow the rules! ;)

I have no idea what to think about it..yet. Gimme some time to consider all pros and cons.
Also, is it just me, or is No Mutants Allowed dead?

I wonder if they get the half done game with it to :S
