I don't like it. It's boring crap in single player.

--Well get some friends. :)  j/k

I guess the best response is that it was not originally planned to be a single player game.  It was designed to be online mayhem.

Yeah there's extra characters and stages to unlock... I unlocked the Far East stage with the huge buddha statue and Shadow.... he looks a lot like Kage from VF4 and he flies a Zero bomber... I can't seem to unlock the next guy though... Ray something.... he keeps kicking my ass. Great game, this isnt' even a beta... it's the final version. Too bad Seganet is dead.

I found a cool trick, hold L and R at the start screen then it Start and you can view the museum of planes youve gotten.

* spoilers

yeah, i unlocked shadow and the next guy (forgot his name, but his plane is a jet and his stage is like a power plant called giga plant).  Also, after you unlock both hidden planes, if you beat all the training missions, you get a dreamcast controller plane, a blimp plane, and a toy airplane named lil susie, lil susie is one bas @$$ plane, awesome firepower but low health.

Big props to Megalexx, he's the guy who cracked Border Down as well.  Belokk roxxx.  Btw he's still hunting out more stuff to rel :)  One day he just busted out some internal VMU util, that was pretty unexpected.  I still have yet to burn it though.  Many of his releases are under a meg :P  Of course, those ones aren't games.

Hoping he can grab up that Castlevania but I wanted Prop Arena a lot more (there's tons of castlevanias out there already anyways, yet only one prop arena)  And yeah I agree the sound track is kicking in this game.  Actually a lot better than most games I've been playing lately.
