Chris Nolan's new flick!

Quote:
Plot Summary: Described as a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind from "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan. Nolan wrote the original screenplay and hopes to shoot the sci-fi action film in the summer for a release during summer 2010.

Inception features Leonardo DiCaprio as Jacob, a CEO-type, Marion Cotillard (La Vie en rose, Public Enemies) as his wife, Ellen Page (Juno) as a young college grad student named Ariadne, who is also DiCaprio’s sidekick, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Arthur, an associate working for DiCaprio. Ken Watanabe will play the film’s villain, a man named Saito, who is blackmailing Leonardo DiCaprio’s character. Tom Hardy (Bronson) plays Eames, a member of DiCaprio’s team. Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, Sunshine) plays Fischer and Michael Caine is also involved.

How the fuck is this a plot summary? I'm sorry but dropping names doesn't describe the movie.

Official plot synopsis:
Quote:
Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

They were just teaser trailers. The full-length one will be in front of Iron Man 2 this friday.

Sci-Fi classic

Some parts might have been a little too action heavy, but wow, terrific.
I'm not so sure how it will hold up to a second viewing, but from a one time watching perspective, it's an incredible spectacle.

I wanna see it again, but right now yeah, like 8.5/10 easily.

I decided I needed to see it again before the credits rolled.

Great movie. Exactly what you'd expect from a Christopher Nolan flick. Nothing less than awesome. 9/10.

If there's any flaw I'd have to point out, it's that the pacing feels a bit rushed. There's not really any slow moments, establishing setting or chracters. But the last hour is suppose to be a real rush, so it's okay. It's much more of an action film than you'd figure from the premise. Highly enjoyable despite this minor poo-poo.

I noticed this IMMEDIATELY from the beginning. I like to think that this was a good thing (with the editing) from the get go to show what kind of film this is and if you (the viewer) are not an idiot, you should grasp that this film isnt going to hold back on finer points.

I also liked how vague some stuff (like the suitcase) was to leave open to interpretation and not get critiqued like most would do.
