The original Begins thread can be found here, but I thought it would be better to start a new thread for a new movie. Merge if you feel it necessary.
According to Variety, Batman 2 is being set into motion, with Nolan to return behind the camera and would hit the big screen in 2008.

great, batman begins is the best batman movie ever imo. hopefully this can be even better, altough i doubt it because the best thing about batman is how he became batman..

Two Face was played Tommy Lee Jones, who did an awsome job at that.

Meh. Clive Owen would do a great Two-Face to be honest.
And as for the Joker, there's a lot of speculations that it would be Paul Bettany.
Also, I think they should stick to 'realistic' villains, unlike Mr. Freeze...

I don't wanna see emily watson as harle quinn either. lol. She was good in her other roles. Even her voice acting in Corpse Bride. But i'll pass on her in some tights.
I'm glad that they're giving two face some back story and time as harvey dent. |

And here is how the sequels get blowing to shit, too many hot name actors being cast as parts. You'd think that they cast a person based upon a look and then give them a script and say "ok now act the part" rather than having them try out for a part and say "hey that's a good job"

Neither is Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfifer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, or any of the other batman villians (well except Arnold he's a shitty actor), yet they all pretty much sucked hog anus.

Without doubt, the new batman films are all about normal people becoming twisted in the head, none of this superpower stuff at all, if they included someone like freeze then its going to instantly kill any chance these movies have of keeping up a good name. |

If you go back to WB batman cartoons freez was wearing normal looking suit, it simply kept him cold, it is not totaly out of this world concept.

Harvey Dent was played by Billy Dee Williams in Burton's first Batman movie, so there's already been a black Dent.
