[FLT] Fairlight Farewell

"It has been a good few years, but it is now time for Fairlight to close its doors for good. Many reasons have made us come to this judgement but we feel it is for the best. The scene is getting to be a dangerous place. Not only do we have to fear from the feds but also the unhonorable ones in the scene who lower themselves to narq the competition. Retiring on top seems to be the best decision for us. We want to thank all those throughout the years who have helped us in one way or another."

It was with much sadness that i read FLT's last nfo. I understand their reasons and it would appear that they have come to a decision based on a reasoned reflection upon recent events.

Whilst they don't know me, i would like to publically thank them for all of their efforts over the years.

Rest in Peace FLT - you will not be forgotten

It really is sad to see them go but they have their valid reasons. I am very gratefull and thankfull for all they have done.

It will sadden me see FLT go, but we are all aware of how hard the government and other organizations are trying to stop piracy and that this isn't anyones career and getting caught is the last thing you want happen. Im sure some members will resurface with other groups, but untill another great group comes along releases may not come as fast since FLT was always the headlinder group. Goodbye and good luck to all those who are retireing.

Is this real or fake?

If it is real I am surprised but I wish them the best of luck. I find it odd that the whole team would call it quits but who am I to know. If it is a joke it seems a bit odd as well. Perhaps the narcing comment had something to due with it.

That's very very very bad.

RZR was fucked up last year and now again with its leader condamned for 18 months.

FLT retire.

If DEV will quit too, scene will be all fucked up as never happened in the last 20 years.

Future seems to be very bad.

FLT has actualy come and gone during the years on different plattforms and i highly doubt we seen the last of FLT in the future.

Sadly tho, if this is true, it seems we yet again say bye to one of the most legendary groups again and most likely the high standard releases they set.
