Plot Summary: The epic adventure "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Agreed but hey, it's Marvel. They even announced that they will bring second and third-tier superheroes to the big screen.

I thought the trailer was pretty sick personally.
I can more than deal with the mythology being 'real' and part of another universe. Infact, I think that's a pretty cool idea. I found the Iron Man reference a little cheesy though.
EDIT: Duh, I just realised Thor is a Marvel superhero!
