Gutterballs - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1087853/

If you like grindhouse slasher movies, gore, 80's type terror then this may be your flick. This is a rape-revenge flick that takes place in a bowling alley. A graphic rape scene, gory killings, and annoying characters make up this movie.
6/10 because i dont watch much of this genre; but entertaining, and that Lisa girl is attractive, specially during her "going commando" shot. At times it may remind you of the NSFW section.

Being There (1979) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078841/

Peter Sellers last big film before his death.
Sellers plays a gardener who has lived his whole life working for an elderly man who passes away and leaves him with no education or social skills beyond what he has seen on TV.

Seriously, this is probably the best film I've seen in years.
It left me with this stupid grin on my face for an hour after I watched it.
Fucking loved it.

5/5 for me

I Love You, Man (2009)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1155056/

Great comedy. I just saw this today at the theatre. It has two of the guys from Forgetting Sarah Marshall; the main character (Jason Segel) and Chuck (Kunu), the surfing instructor.

I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall and this movie was ever better. No penise flashing in this one. The main character from the other movie, Jason Segel, is the supporting actor in this one, and Paul Rudd is the main character.

The characters are great, the jokes are funny, and the movie has lots of known comedians in is. There's Andy Samberg (SNL, Lonely Island, "Jizz in My Pants", "I'm On a Boat"), Karen from The Office, the gay shorts-wearing cop from RENO 911, one black guy from The Daily Show and some others.

The story's about the main character who's a successful guy and he just proposed to his girl friend, but he has no male friends. He needs a best man at his wedding, so he goes around trying to find male friends to hang out with. Simple story, but it's a very funny movie.

Red - 9/10

Some kids shoot an old man's dog for no reason. That's how the movie starts. It's a very good movie, well-acted and I really enjoyed watching it just now. It has a simple premise but the movie develops very well. I can't say any more without spoiling some of the movie.

I just saw The Final Destination in 3D.

It was very entertaining, funny and short. I think it's barely around one hour long, but it was still fun to watch. It had lots of interesting, over-the-top funny deaths and gimmicky 3D effects with blood and stuff flying at you.

Love Hurts (2009) - http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1213825/

This was pretty hilarious with a couple of real good laughs. I was kinda surprised over this, didn't think it will be any good. Richard Grant does it well.

7/10

Too many movies, so short reviews.

Gigantic (2008) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1176251/
Pretentious, dull indie-flick 4/10

Broken Flowers (2005) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1084019/
Murray's performance worked a charm, film engaged. Lolita for the win. 8/10

Crows Zero II JAP (2009) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1232831/
Let down by Miike. Exceedingly long, too little focus, useless subplots - editing req. 5/10

Taxi to the Dark Side (2007) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0854678/
Torture always gets my vote 8/10

Cyborg Girl JAP (2008) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0929860/
Had its moments comedically, but the latter half just dragged. 5/10

Black Belt JAP (2007) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1084019/
What can I say people hit each other good in this 9/10

Sauna (2008) FIN http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1124394/
Had a sauna to commemorate, understated but exceptionally well-executed drama/horror 8/10

Immortel (Ad vitam) (2004) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0314063/
Sci-fi. One of those rare treats where the film trumps the written material. Inventive and inspired. 10/10

Louise-Michel FR (2008) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1132594/
Darkly satirical social commentary, worked a treat 8/10

Resolved (2007) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1068161/
Debating documentary. Couldn't understand a word when they talked. Fascinating. 7/10

Spirited Away (2002)
Someone had it as one of the top movies of this decade so I just watched it and it was a beautiful cartoon with a great world and tons of weird, cool characters. The characters and world made me think of Pan's Labyrinth, but the story's completely different of course. 10/10

Audition (2001)
Great horror movie with some very deep meaning, not just random gore/torture like you might expect. Very disturbing and creepy, especially towards the end. It started off more like a romantic comedy, too. Very cool. 10/10

The Conversation (1974)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071360/

Brilliant thriller with Gene Hackman.

A very intense experience, with a twist you don't see coming. It's slow but builds to an interesting conclusion.

9 / 10 for me.

Into the Storm: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0992993/

Fantastic movie. Wow Brendan Gleeson as Winston Churchill was brilliant. He should have won the Oscar. The impersonation was 100% spot on. I can't believe how good he was. Also, the actor who played Joe Stalin was very well cast. Not only did he look like the Marshall, but he also spoke with a true Georgian accent. I am glad I watched this movie and I highly recommend it to everyone else.

I went to The Bloor cinema in Tdot last night and saw the 1966 Spaghetti Western classic Django
It was pretty fucking awesome to see in a theater because everyone was up for it, and the bad dubbing gave it this great campy feel. Lots of good laugh out loud moments, and a simple plot that's fairly engaging, even if it's full of holes. Some of the showdowns in it are just epic.
