Q: Can I review something? |
|
A: Yes, please do. The new Firstlook system lets anyone with a forum account submit a review
for a game. We will be expanding into console/media releases in the near future as well.

Q: Why should I review? |
|
A: Ideally because you like both playing games and writing. Many do it for the fame and exposure--thousands of users will read your review after it's posted. We have plans for periodic hardware giveaways to reviews, too (the more reviews the more entries into the contest).

Q: How long should be my review be? |
|
A: Please read the Firstlook Authoring Guidelines. It covers the format of a Firstlook review.

Q: What's this Editors' Pick of the Week nonsense?? |

A: Each week the staff editors will pick one review to highlight on the portal page for that week. |

Q: I submitted a review and it isn't showing up on the site. What gives? |
|
A: All reviews must first be authorized by a staff editor before they will be displayed publically. You will receive an email when an editor makes a decision on your review. |

Q: Can I see how many people have read my review(s)? |

A: Yes, although this system is temporarily offline. It will be fixed soon.
